eRx Network is a leading provider of third-party claims management
and analysis services, Medicare and Medicaid billing services and
e-Script physician communication services to the retail pharmacy

eRx purchased Event Manager to manage a mixed SQL Server 2000 and
2005 environment. The product enables eRx to easily manage 250+ jobs and
alerts, aids in eliminating blocking issues occurring in the daily
maintenance window, and enables easy (drag and drop) rescheduling of
backup jobs that, before Event Manager, were competing for the same disk
resources. In addition, eRx uses Event Manager's event chaining to
define dependencies in the workflow and eliminate contention between
jobs that utilize the same resources.
"Initially, there were a large number of jobs with
custom code written for each job to handle alerting. I inherited this
system from the previous DBA. Event Manager made it much easier to take
control of the current environment, modify it and make it my own."

Event Manager has provided eRx with an easy to use Outlook style interface that highlights schedule
overlap and contention issues, long running events, failed events and
more using clear visual indicators.
